Several years ago, I visited friends in SF. Alexis had just received a set of seven novelty mustaches from her sister. She and I, with our matching short hairdos, set about wearing one each day for photo shoots around town, amusing ourselves more and more as the days progressed. Here, in honor of her birthday today, I present my favorites. The headline on the incendiary rag that I'm reading is wholly coincidental:
